On Wednesday 11th July at 6pm, the Irish Society of International Law, in partnership with Amnesty International, the Irish Centre for Human Rights at NUI, Galway and the Bar Council of Ireland will present an Informal Panel Discussion to mark 10 Years of the International Criminal Court. The event will take place in the Arbitration Room, Distillery Building, Church Street, Dublin 7.
The panellists will be Ms Stephanie Barbour from the Justice Section of Amnesty International, Dr Shane Darcy, Lecturer at the Irish Centre for Human Rights, National University of Ireland, Galway, and Prof Joe Powderly, Associate Professor, University of Leiden and Dr James Gallen, Lecturer at Dublin Institute of Technology and Trinity College Dublin. The Panel discussion will be moderated by Colin Smith BL, Adjunct Lecturer at Trinity College Dublin.
Attendance is free to members of ISIL and Amnesty International and students of the ICHR. Price to attend lecture for non-members is €5. ISIL membership will be available at the door (€30 per annum/€15 conc.).
